Krosis

Krosis the dragon priest.

Krosis is one of the 8 dragon priests found in Skyrim.  He can be found at Shearpoint, a mountain, along with a dragon on top of a word wall with all 3 words on it.

The best way to kill Krosis is to first take care of the dragon.  Do not run up to the word wall because then you will be stuck in a 2 on 1 battle.  Shoot an arrow at the dragon then take care of him, being sure not to trigger Krosis by getting too close to the wall.  The dragon I had to kill was a fire-breather but it might be random.  When the dragon is almost dead he will land in front of the word wall.  Continue shooting arrows until the dragon is dead before triggering Krosis.  After triggering Krosis by going to the word wall, he will pop out of his coffin in the ground.  For weapon users, just keep running around a rock and hitting him before he hits you until he dies.  For magic users, do the same thing or jump on top of a short, slightly slanted rock and shoot magic (like fire or sparks) at him and keep moving to the low part of the rock so even if he shoots his staff he can't hit you.

After Krosis dies, he drops one of the 8 dragon priest masks, which is also called Krosis.

Houses

Now that you have some money from using my technique from my previous post, Easy Money, you can buy a house!  Houses are good for many things such as storing your items without the worry of them disappearing and a place for your husband/wife to stay so they can earn you money from their "store".  Here are some of the houses you can buy.

Location   |     Name     | Price  | How to get
Whiterun         Breezehome   5000   |  Complete Bleak Falls Barrow quest
Riften              |   Honeyside     5k-8k   | Complete Skooma Trade and misc quests
Markarth        |   Vlindrel Hall   |  8000   | Complete Main Quest or level 20, Red Eagle Redoubt and misc
Windhelm         |     Hjerim        8k-12k  | Complete Blood on the Ice and Stormcloak/Imperial chain
Solitude           |   Proudspire    |  25000  | Complete Elisif's Tribute (misc) for the Jarl
                                 Manor

Most people would think that Breezehome isn't a very good house because it's the cheapest and easiest to get.  I currently own and use Breezehome but it is actually an awesome house!  It has plenty of storage space, a cooking pot and alchemy table, 4 shelves for your books, and two bedrooms for yourself and a housecarl.  Trust me, houses are worth the money.

Notes: The house Hjerim has been known to have glitchy containers.
In Oblivion, you CAN fast travel inside your house, but Skyrim does NOT allow you to.

Easy money

Most people would say "Oh just do some quests! You get a few hundred gold each time!"  NO.  I say you steal!  I know it's wrong to steal but in Skyrim it's not like NPC's need money or food or anything else in their houses/stores anyway.  You want to join the Thieve's Guild first that way you have a place to sell your items.  After joining the Thieve's Guild, pick some easy targets such as a store with jewelry or potions that sell for a lot but weigh almost nothing compared to armor or weapons.

A good trick to use for stealing is "The Bucket Trick".  The Bucket Trick is simple.  You put a bucket over an NPC's head so they can't see you stealing.

NOTE: On XBOX 360, pick objects up by holding down A while looking at them.  Sorry, I only play Skyrim on the XBOX 360 and not the PS3 or computer.  If you know how to pick objects up on th PS3 or computer please leave a comment!

Werewolves RAWWR!

I got the pic here!

Today, I finally became a werewolf!  It takes a while to finish one of the quests, but it's worth it.  Being a werewolf means that (even when not in werewolf form) you are resistant to diseases, but you can't get a sleeping time bonus.  I never cared much for the sleeping time bonus but that might be a bad thing for some people.  To become a werewolf, you have to join the Companions in Whiterun.  Just simply do the quests they tell you to do until you join The Circle AKA getting turned into a werewolf because they make you become one in order to join The Circle.  Watch out though! Most people in Skyrim do not like werewolves and guards give you a 1000gold bounty so after you drink the blood of Aela the Huntress, you get thrown outside of the Underforge. I suggest run back inside immediatlely until the Beast Form wears off.

A few basic tips

Tip #1)  When you are in a dungeon (or cave or whatever you call it), watch where you step!!  There are traps around every corner, especially where the Drougrs are.

Tip #2)  Whatch what you pick up. I know this is the most obvious one but you don't want to know how many times I got caught by accidentally picking up something in a store.  BTW I never get caught when I steal on purpose(:

Tip #3)  DO. NOT. MESS. WITH. THE. GIANTS. OR. THEIR. MAMMOTHS.  The giants will literally send you 300 feet in the air if you get hit with their club.  Don't believe me?  Go find one (look for a bonfire with mammoths around it) and run up to it.  But be sure to save your game first because you will most definitely die.

Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog about the game Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim!  In this blog I will talk about the random things I do in my daily Skyrim life.  I will give tips, walkthroughs, those sort of things.  FYI, this is only walkthroughs and things of quests and stuff that I go through, NOT a COMPLETE walkthrough of the entire game like certain websites.  Also, sorry I'm not starting at the beginning at level 1, but 16 isn't too high I hope.  Enjoy :)
